Wilmington Weekend!
I had a wonderful weekend as I hope you did. I headed down to the beach Saturday morning at 6am. I was very thankful to not be driving. My girlfriend was competing in her first figure contest and I would not have missed that for anything. E and I went down to support her along with her hubby and daughter. What an experience. I was so proud of my girl I just can not tell you. She looked amazing, in fact too good! She placed 3rd but the awesome part was it was simply because she was too hard and vascular for figure. Not a bad reason to not take first…she can always soften upJ Myself on the other hand, I am more the “bikini figure” type. I have no desire to “diet” LOL! But I will go to every show of hers she enters. Can I just say OMG to watching the men’s open division. Having the men’s body building at the same show is a pretty positive indicator I will be there:) It was really nice to sink our toes in the sand and smell the ocean air in between the pre-judging and the night show. My little poker ran straight into the ocean in full dress! She is like a little fish (I was the same way) and it is really cool to see her love for the ocean and beach. I have a pretty big week ahead of me and it is all good. This is going to be a wonderful week I can feel it in my bones (as well as other places) ! See you guys Wednesday at 1pm on cam.
