HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!
I hope all the Dad’s out there have a wonderful day. Take a moment out of your day to be thankful for the awesome responsibility you have of raising your children. I hope that the love and respect your kids have for you is reflected in the way you are treated today (and everyday for that matter). You Dads have such an impact on your children and I pray that future generations of children are raised by more “intouch” and “at home” Fathers.
Michael had the day OFF. E and I got up early and did some errands keeping the house nice and quiet. When we got home at 1 he was still sleeping:) I had kept him up until 5AM so this was not a surprise *wink*. Michael got his Father’s day gift ALL night last night. E and I made a huge breakfast of eggs, slow cool oatmeal and bacon. Once ready we took it into the bedroom and slowly woke the Daddy. We let him enjoy his feast, turned on Fox news and let him get up at his pace. Once out of the room we had a carpet picnic of snacks and movies. E and I gave Daddy his cards and gifts and thanked him for being such a great Dad. E’s exact words were “the bestest Daddy ever!” Enjoy your day Dads!
