A Chance To Breath
I don’t know about you guys but this month, and last, have just blown by. I feel like every time I look up another week has passed me by. I do hope that you all had wonderful holidays and are enjoying the process of preparing for Christmas. I am shocked to say I am half way done with the shopping. That is way ahead of schedule for me. It feels really good, I am just hoping that the procrastinator in me doesn’t now feel it is ok to wait until the last minute for everything else!
This past year has been a very interesting one. Most are for me however this one even more so. I was given the opportunity to see human nature at it’s worst, best and about everything in between. I was given unique insight into how the minds of some people I know (I use that term lightly) and seen the dark side of ignorance, laziness and selfishness. No matter how hard I try to give the benefit of the doubt, they never cease to fail me in their inability to grasp truth….only their own greed and self purpose. What do I do? move forward. I have realized that some people do not want to better themselves but rather prefer, actually prefer…. to remain on the bottom shelf of life. I suppose if you have never know success nor were raised to expect more out of life, that is all one can do. I do not know. What I do know is that I will continue to press ahead to make my life and the word around me better. The unkind words from the mouths of people who never bothered to understand truth from fiction and choose to stay in a place full of bullshit, lies, finger pointing and gossip….don’t bother me. What bothers me is the number of people out there who will never know the joy of freedom.
On another note, I had a BLAST with you guys in cam today. Lubeman you are insane and I totally dig that about you. I do hope you enjoyed what the “baker” made for you *wink*. Luke…next time darling don’t be late (lol!). I look forward to seeing you guys this weekend and whatever you do….make sure to make someone smile, including yourself:)
