A Piece Of The Apple
So if you guys saw my morning twitter rant…sorry about that, LOL! I had not gotten enough sleep and I was very cranky when I had my less than delightful Mac Store experience. On a very positive note for Mac….I had owned my mac book pro for 3 years with zero issue there for never having had to go to a store this was my first. Michael bought me my first one so I had simony never been to one. I walk in and dude with pad starts tapping away…”name please”. I’m thinking for what? I am not having lunch here. Anyhoo once a “genius” was available (20 minutes) I went to the “genius bar” to be told I needed an appointment to drop off my broken computer. I thought he was kidding. I realized he was not when he said what time tomorrow would work for you. Shit I had just driven 35 minutes to get there. I realized I was not going to get anywhere so I made my appointment to sarcastically ask if I needed an appointment to buy a new laptop. That was wrong and I felt like a jerk later but I have to say I do nit care for their “retail” procedure. It was very stoic and a bit clinical if I may say. Now that I know how it works however I will prepare better next time. But then again being that I use a Mac…..I may not ever have need to go back:)
I am back u0 and running now. Here is where I feel a Mac is phenomenal machine. I plugged in an out of the box mac to my time machine. 3 “continues” later and 45 minutes…..my old computer with O/S was up and running. Brilliant!
So we are back in action, I had a nap to sleep of the cranks and I am ready to do something productive today:) Thanks for the chat last night and again, welcome all my new members. I look forward to getting to know you all!
