Long weekend…..
Who doesn’t love a long weekend? I know I do:) It seems to somehow go just as fast however???? The sun is shining and almost all is good. I say that because I have a dear friend who’s baby is in the ER. He is having a really tough time and the Doctor’s do not seem to have a grasp as to what is happening to him. His little body just shut down and and there are no answers. He is only 8 months old and until yesterday, a very vibrant and healthy baby. I saw him hours before he was rushed to the ER and we were having a ball giving him zerbits and making him giggle. I have goose bumps as I write this because the pain in my heart for his parents. The strength and unbearable fear they must be going through…inconsolable. For those of you who are my praying friends PLEASE put in a word to the big man for him, he needs the extra hand right now as do his Mom and Dad.
It is events like this that really put things in perspective and make you ponder who you are and what you are doing with your life. I have had my share of “difficult” times…those times have helped me become exactly who I was meant to be and I have no regrets. We are not promised tomorrow and that is exactly why we need to live each day full of thankfulness, kindness, laughter, hugs and without compromise. May this weekend be full of good and happy times for you and I hope you will take a minute to look at all the awesome people and events you have been given the opportunity to experience….and to the many to come your way:)
